My own lesson in science

Okay, so in my science class we were given a topic. We had to give a lesson on that topic and my was on absolute age of rocks.

my resources where my text book and WWW.thinkquest.com

my lesson was short and there wasn't much to teach, but it was hard to find info on but it was short and not to embarrassing.

  1. I'm glad it wasn't embarrassing. I get very nervous speaking in front of an audience including my own peers. Congrats for making it through the hard task of public speaking. What is one thing you learned from teaching your class?

  2. Well I learned that I am not afraid of public speaking anymore and my teacher said I did a good job for a 13 year old 8th grader and learned from my self while I was teaching about my topic(absolute age)Mrs.Conley. Well thank you for commenting on my blog!!!:p

  3. Wesley, my name is Amanda and I am in the edm310 class at the University of South Alabama. I am glad that you were not embarrassed while giving your lesson. One thing I would suggest is if you get nervous have a very small piece of paper in your hand and ball it up over and over again it helps release some of that by keeping your hands busy. I think it is awesome that your teacher lets the students help teach on certain subjects. I think that I learn better about a subject when I have to be able to teach it just as you said in your reply. I encourage you every chance you get to practice speaking in public the more you do the better you get. Good luck in the future.
